All our properties are located in the city of Baltimore. Our experience and knowledge of the city enable us to define the sectors in which the investment will be most profitable. Our intention is also to revitalize the most economically distressed communities and thus to initiate a process of gentrification.
These neighborhoods are named « opportunity zones » by the Secretary of US Treasury. These are areas in economic crisis where new investors can benefit from preferential tax treatment. The city of Baltimore counts 42 in total.
The properties acquired as part of this project are, for the most part, distressed apartments or single-family homes with 2 to 4 bedrooms. These properties are either « foreclosures », seized and put up for sale by banks, or bought at very low prices at auction. These homes are then renovated and made ready for use according to a set of specifications defined by our partners, experts in construction and property management.
